About working leather shop

Custom leather and horsehair goods designed and made to work as hard as you do and make you look good doing it. Carve, tool, stain, stitch, inlay, and virtually anything else you can imagine. I don’t use stamps for any lettering or tooling patterns, every pattern is hand drawn, carved, and tooled. Visit the “In The Works Page” to see what mid-process items look like.

I started learning leather work at Double H Ranch Saddle Shop in Fort Collins, CO and now work on projects in the evenings and on weekends.

Absolutely my favorite part about leather work is that I make art that we can use every day. My spur straps sport my three favorite flowers and the background is stained red, so that even when I’m covered in dirt and sweat I feel beautiful and proud. A leather necklace, thin and delicate, soft and supple gives a Western flare with a modern twist. Your favorite pattern featured on your headstall gives even the most awkward colt a look of competence and style. 

I did not intend on making this a business originally, so there are many things I've made but don't have pictures of. If there is something you're interested in, but don't see on the site, I hope you contact me with any questions or projects you have in mind anyways.
